Two weeks after listing her gorgeous French-Style Bel Air mansion, actor, singer, dancer, and producer Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck (who sold his bachelor pad in October), are in escrow for the purchase of a $34.5 million Pacific Palisades estate, TMZ reports. The actual purchase price is still unknown as the deal has yet to be finalized.
The newlyweds are truly going for a fresh start since the one-acre property which has only been on the market for twenty-five days, was built in 2022, and may have never been occupied. The two-story transitional-style house inspired by traditional East Coast architecture sits within a leafy setting of mature sycamore trees and tall hedges. The manse’s entrance is approached via a stone-paved driveway which leads to an arched brick porte-cochère, gravel motor court, and a six-car garage.
Inside, six bedrooms and twelve bathrooms (a guest cottage on the grounds has an extra bedroom and bathroom) are scattered within 15,100-square-feet of living space, along with other traditional rooms and a ton of luxurious extras. White walls and white ceilings together with hardwood floors are found throughout the entire abode.
The gorgeous gourmet kitchen which flows into an open service kitchen, breakfast corner, and formal living room with a fireplace, features a double island and high-end appliances. A full service bar is adjacent to a family room, both with access to the outdoors via tall glass french doors. Upstairs, there are four ensuite bedrooms and a deluxe master suite which features a sitting area, dual bathrooms and closets. Both the bedroom and bathroom grant direct access to a balcony which overlooks the backyard.
Other luxe highlights of the house include a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a screening room, a gym, a spa, an elevator, and a study with an ensuite powder room and double pocket doors that lead to a traditional covered porch. Bennifer and the rest of the family will also get to enjoy a landscaped backyard with a pool, jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, and pergola covered patios.
After a broken engagement that spanned twenty years, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally tied the knot last August. Yesterday, J.Lo posted to her Instagram pictures of the matching tattoos that she and Affleck got to celebrate their first Valentine’s day together as a married couple.
